Over the years weve tried hundreds of different styles of exhausts on various different cars, so its pretty rare that we try something out thats truly new to us.
IPE reached out to show us their new Double X-Pipe exhaust for the G90 M5. It promises a true mixture of both banks of exhaust gas, no drone and a deeper fuller exhaust tone.
We must admit we were intrigued, so our M5 was back on the lift to test it out and see how it really sounds!
The end result is very nice, different to other exhausts weve tried on the G90 M5 with the double x-pipe definitely changing the tone for the better.
Fitment and overall quality was spot on, couldnt ask for more. The tips are a great design but the huge Alpha N carbon diffuser does make them look a little lost. On a more conservative rear diffuser or even the M Performance style I bet they would look much more at home.
