PROCEDURE
1. CHECK DTC
(a) Turn the ignition switch on (IG), and wait for at least 60 seconds.
(b) Clear the DTCs stored in memory See: Restraints and Safety Systems/Air Bag Systems/Testing and Inspection/Reading and Clearing
Diagnostic Trouble Codes/DTC Check / Clear (to 12/2010).
(c) Turn the ignition switch off.
(d) Turn the ignition switch on (IG), and wait for at least 60 seconds.
(e) Check the DTCs See: Restraints and Safety Systems/Air Bag Systems/Testing and Inspection/Reading and Clearing Diagnostic
Trouble Codes/DTC Check / Clear (to 12/2010).
OK:
DTC B1610/13 is not output.
HINT
Codes other than DTC B1610/13 may be output at this time, but they are not related to this check.
