Condition
The trim panel at the defroster vent on the instrument panel is deformed (Figure 1).
Technical Background
The trim panel is composed of a material which expands in a moist condition. The instrument panel restricts this expansion which leads to
deformation of the trim.
Production Solution
The attachment of the trim panel is improved.
Service
Replace the defroster vent trim panel.
