MODEL

R55 (Cooper Clubman, Cooper S Clubman)

R56 (Cooper, Cooper S)

R57 (Cooper Convertible, Cooper S Convertible)

R60 (Cooper Countryman, Cooper S Countryman)

Vehicles produced July 1, 2010 through March 1, 2011

SITUATION

When driving the vehicle, a CCM (Check Control Message) icon may be displayed in the instrument cluster, indicating the power window

anti-trap has failed. The CCM will go out after a certain time period. The power window continues to operate normally without any issues.

Fault codes 9CC7 and 9CC8 are stored in the FRM3 (Footwell Module) control module.

CAUSE

FRM3 (Footwell Module) software

CORRECTION

Do not replace the power window motor or the FRM3.

Starting with February 8, 2010 production, the CCM icon will not be displayed. However, when the fault code memory is checked, the

faults will be seen. Perform a vehicle test using the latest ISTA version.

If FRM FC 9CC7 and 9CC8 are stored, ignore the faults and program the vehicle using ISTA/P 2.41 or later.

Note that ISTA/P will automatically reprogram and code all programmable control modules that do not have the latest software.2010 Mini Cooper (R56) L4-1.6L (N12)
