Customer statement:
Small cracks are seen in the plastic headlight lens.
Workshop findings:
The damage is not due to outside influence or impacts by road debris.
The cracks normally show in the area of the upper edge around the headlight lens.
Technical Background
Changes were made in the production process of the headlight lens at the supplier which can lead to this issue.
Production Solution
The tempering process was optimized by the headlight supplier.

Verify the marks are not from road debris, small rocks, or hail damage. If the damage does not appear to be from outside influence then replace only
the headlight housing. Do not replace the bulbs, ballasts, or other internal parts of the headlight. Remove internal parts from old headlight housing
and install into new housing.
