Adjust Trunk Lid Stops
This Service Campaign has been initiated because Daimler AG (DAG) has determined that due to tolerance and settling of the rubber seal the trunk
lid may touch the bumper during closing on the affected vehicles. Dealers will adjust the trunk lid stops at the next workshop visit2010 Mercedes Benz C 63 AMG Sedan (204.077) V8-6.3L (156.985)

Procedure
1. Open trunk lid
2. Unscrew trunk lid stop (A, Figure 1) one complete turn (counter clockwise).
Note:
Checking the trunk lid adjustment is not necessary.
3. Unscrew trunk lid stop (B, Figure 1) two complete turns (counter clockwise).
Note:
Checking the trunk lid adjustment is not necessary.
Note:
The following allowable labor operation should be used when submitting a warranty claim for this repair:
